About Caylor Custom Flies

At Caylor Custom Flies our goal has always been to tie and sell the highest quality flies possible. This requires using the best quality materials the market has to offer. Most of my flies are tied with hi-carbon steel, chemically sharpened hooks. The midges are tied on Mustad round-eyed hooks. All the dry flies are tied with genetic hackle from Whiting Farms. All the nymphs and many of the streamer patterns are weighted. The brass beads on the beadhead nymphs are gold plated to resist tarnishing. We process most of our own fly-tying materials to ensure consistant colors and to reduce expenses. I promise that you can't purchase a more skilfully crafted fly at any price.
